Will this kit stop my cat from scratching completely?

No. Scratching is normal cat behaviour used for stretching, claw maintenance and marking. The kit provides better scratching options and tools to help redirect the behaviour consistently.

Why are both a vertical and horizontal scratcher included?

Cats have different scratching preferences. The Maine 90 supports upright full-body stretching, while The Shredder provides a floor-level corrugated surface. Offering both makes it easier to identify the surface and direction your cat prefers.

Can I use the deterrent spray and Sticky Paws on any surface?

No. Follow each product label and patch-test a hidden area first. Sticky Paws can damage wood finishes, painted surfaces, leather, vinyl, microfiber and wallpaper. Use the Nature’s Miracle spray only on label-approved compatible household surfaces and never directly on a cat.

How should I use the catnip?

Sprinkle a small pinch onto an approved scratcher and allow supervised investigation. Responses vary between cats, and young kittens may show little or no response.

How do I trim my cat’s claws safely?

Work in good light and trim only the clear hooked tip, avoiding the quick. Stop if the cat struggles or the quick cannot be identified. A groomer or veterinarian can help if you are unsure.
