IAMS Proactive Health dry cat food provides everyday nutrition for kittens and adult cats, including formulas for indoor routines, weight and hairball care, and familiar chicken, tuna and salmon flavours. The current range also includes a mother-and-kitten recipe formulated for growth and early development.

Select food according to the life stage and purpose printed on the pack. Indoor or weight-care formulas should not be used as a substitute for veterinary assessment when a cat is gaining weight unexpectedly, vomiting hairballs frequently or showing changes in appetite. Keep fresh water available, particularly when feeding a mainly dry diet.

Choosing IAMS cat food

Begin with age and reproductive stage, then compare the protein flavour and any stated support purpose. Measure the daily portion rather than leaving an unlimited bowl, and adjust gradually according to body condition and veterinary guidance. Transition to a new recipe over several days by mixing increasing amounts with the previous food.
