At The Apartment Cat, your royal highness’s orders are handled with the utmost care — because lateness displeases the monarch, and displeasing the monarch is… inadvisable.
⏳ Processing Time
Orders are usually prepared within 1 business day (and never more than 2).
Once ready, your parcel will be dispatched into the capable — and slightly terrified — paws of our local courier partners.
You’ll receive a tracking email as soon as your parcel begins its noble journey.
🚚 Delivery Areas & Times
We currently deliver within South Africa only.
Estimated delivery times once dispatched:
- Gauteng: 1–3 business days
- Main centres (Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, Gqeberha): 1–5 business days
- Outlying or rural areas: 1–6 business days
These are estimates, not royal guarantees — delays may occur due to courier disruptions, bad weather, or suspicious squirrel activity.

Free Shipping: Orders totalling R799 or more for free standard shipping within South Africa. No code needed - the discount applies automatically at checkout.
🔎 Tracking
Once your order leaves the palace gates, you’ll receive a tracking number and courier details by email.
If you don’t receive tracking within 5 business days, please:
- Check your spam or promotions folder
- Contact servant@theapartmentcat.com
🛑 Failed Deliveries
If a delivery attempt fails because of an incorrect address, inaccessible premises, or the absence of a servant to receive the package, redelivery may be arranged at an additional cost.
Please ensure your delivery details are accurate — the Crown frowns upon wasted journeys.
⚠️ Delays
While we strive for speed worthy of royal decree, external factors can occasionally slow your parcel’s march.
If your package appears to be taking a suspiciously long nap in transit, contact servant@theapartmentcat.com.
We’ll investigate with all the urgency of a cat hearing a can-opener.
