IAMS Proactive Health Mother & Kitten Cat Food with Chicken is complete dry nutrition for pregnant and nursing cats and kittens from approximately two to twelve months. Chicken is the first ingredient, and the formula is designed to support maternal nutrition and rapid kitten growth.
DHA from fish oil supports brain and eye development, while protein, calcium and balanced minerals contribute to growing muscles, bones and teeth. Prebiotics and beet pulp support normal digestion, and antioxidants with vitamin E support natural defences. Use the current feeding table because pregnancy, lactation and kitten growth require different amounts.
Feeding IAMS Mother & Kitten
Divide the daily quantity into age-appropriate meals and keep fresh water available. Kittens moving from milk to solids may need the kibble introduced gradually or softened only when the package permits it. Monitor the mother’s body condition and kitten growth with a veterinarian. Transition healthy kittens to an adult formula at the recommended age rather than continuing growth food indefinitely.

A note from management
A note from management
The nursery division operates under a different set of rules.
The Queen eats first. The recruits follow. IAMS Mother & Kitten handles the rations for both: chicken at the front of the file, DHA for developing eyes and judgement, and enough energy for a household that has recently stopped sleeping.
Management has placed the maternity wing under quiet protection. Visitors may approach the bowl only after clearance.
Tony has been informed that the small ones are not to be underestimated.
