Sticky Paws furniture strips are designed to discourage cats from scratching selected household surfaces by adding a temporary adhesive barrier. They can support a training plan when used alongside attractive, correctly positioned scratching posts or boards.

Scratching is normal feline behaviour used for stretching, claw maintenance and scent marking. Deterrent strips should redirect that behaviour rather than punish it. Test the product on an inconspicuous area first, follow the surface instructions carefully and avoid applying it to delicate finishes, loose fabric or anything the adhesive may damage.

Using Sticky Paws furniture strips

Clean and dry the approved surface before application, then cover the specific area being scratched. Place a sturdy scratcher close by and reward the cat for using it. Replace or remove strips according to the instructions and inspect the cat’s paws if adhesive contact occurs. Do not attach the product to the cat.
