About this collection

Kitten cat litter should make the first litter-box routine simple, accessible and comfortable. This collection brings together litter selected for young cats, including fine or paw-friendly textures and formulas designed to support everyday scooping, moisture absorption and odour control.

Young kittens may be sensitive to sudden changes in texture or scent. Place the tray in a quiet, easy-to-reach area and keep the litter type consistent during training. Always check the individual product instructions, because clumping method, scent, disposal guidance and recommended age can differ.

Setting up a kitten litter tray

Choose a tray with a low or accessible entrance, add the recommended amount of litter and remove waste frequently. Keep food and water away from the tray. After meals, naps or active play, gently placing the kitten near the tray can help establish the routine without forcing or frightening it.

Questions about this collection

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of litter is best for a kitten?

A product specifically labelled for kittens is the safest starting point. Look for a comfortable texture, manageable dust level and clear age and disposal instructions.

How often should a kitten’s tray be cleaned?

Remove waste at least daily and clean more often if the tray is used frequently. A clean tray is easier for a kitten to accept consistently.

Should I use scented kitten litter?

Some kittens accept a light scent, while others prefer unscented litter. If the kitten avoids the tray, scent or texture may be one factor worth changing gradually.
