Composition

Ultra-fine mineral cat litter with antibacterial treatment and baby-powder fragrance.

The official South African product page does not publish the exact mineral or clay type for this product, so no specific clay composition has been assumed.

Performance

• Ultra-fine granules designed for kitten paws
• Baby-powder fragrance for odour control
• Antibacterial action to support tray hygiene
• Designed to make early litter training less intimidating
• Suitable for kittens and adult cats

Actual odour control and usage time depend on tray size, litter depth, number of cats and cleaning frequency.

Pour litter into the tray until it reaches a minimum depth of 7 cm.

Inspect the litter tray daily. Remove dried droppings and clumped litter with a suitable scoop. Stir the remaining litter and top up as needed to maintain the correct depth.

For kitten training, place your kitten in the litter tray at the times they are most likely to need it: early morning, after meals and before bedtime. You can gently make digging movements in the litter to encourage use. Praise your kitten when they use the tray correctly.

Dispose of used litter in normal household refuse. Seal soiled litter securely in a plastic bag before disposal.

Do not flush this litter down the toilet. Do not compost or dig used litter into the garden, as cat faeces may contain harmful bacteria.

For hygiene, use gloves when handling used litter and wash your hands after cleaning the tray. Pregnant women, nursing mothers and people with suppressed immune systems should avoid direct contact with used cat litter.

Wash the tray regularly and allow it to dry before refilling.

Why is it designed for kittens?

The ultra-fine texture is intended to feel gentler on sensitive kitten paws and make the introduction to litter training less traumatic.

Yes. Bob Martin describes it as antibacterial.

Is it only for kittens?

No. The official South African product page lists it for all ages and all cats.
