The Elephant in the Room is an elephant-shaped silicone slow-feeder mat with textured grooves and suction cups. It spreads wet food, purée treats and other suitable soft foods across several sections, encouraging cats and small pets to lick and search rather than eating from one open bowl.

The food-grade, BPA-free silicone is flexible and described as dishwasher safe. Suction performance depends on a clean, smooth surface and may be weaker on textured floors or when food and water reach the underside. Slower presentation may extend mealtime, but it does not treat vomiting, anxiety or digestive disease.

Using the slow feeder mat
