The Rogz SparkleCat is a decorative pin-buckle cat collar with glitter material on a soft faux-fur base. It includes reflective detail, a bell and built-in safety elastic intended to provide an escape option if the collar becomes snagged.

Unlike a conventional breakaway buckle, this design uses a pin buckle together with an elastic safety section. The collar should therefore be fitted and monitored carefully. Reflective and glitter details improve appearance and visibility under suitable light but do not make unsupervised outdoor roaming safe.

Fit and safety

Measure your cat’s neck and choose the correct XS or S size. Fasten the pin buckle so the collar remains secure without restricting breathing or allowing the jaw to become trapped beneath it. Test the elastic section according to the product instructions and inspect the buckle, faux fur, glitter surface, bell and elastic regularly. Never attach a leash to the collar. Remove it if it causes rubbing, distress or repeated snagging.

To measure, place a soft measuring tape around your cat’s neck where the collar will sit. Leave enough room to fit one to two fingers between the collar and your cat’s neck.

The collar should be secure, but not tight. It should not hang loosely, as loose collars can catch on objects.

Check the fit regularly, especially if your cat is still growing, losing weight, gaining weight, or entering a dramatic fluff era.
