The Rogz NightCat Control Harness and Lead Set combines a reflective adjustable harness with a matching 1.8m lead for controlled, supervised outdoor exploration. The harness is made from snag-free polyester webbing with reflective printed details and is available in XS and S according to the current size guide.

A harness can provide more secure leash attachment than an ordinary collar, but correct fit is essential. Cats can reverse out of loose equipment, and reflective material improves visibility only when light reaches it. Introduce the harness indoors before attempting a garden, balcony or travel session.

Fit and safety

Measure the cat according to the Rogz guide and adjust every strap so the harness remains secure without restricting breathing or movement. Attach the lead only after the cat is comfortable wearing the harness. Inspect webbing, buckles, rings, stitching and the lead clip before every use. Never leave a cat tethered or unattended, and avoid traffic, dogs, open gates and excessive heat.

To measure, place a soft measuring tape around your cat’s chest, just behind the front legs, where the harness will sit.

The harness should be secure, but not tight. Leave enough room to fit one to two fingers between the harness and your cat’s body.

Check the fit regularly, especially if your cat is still growing, losing weight, gaining weight, or entering a dramatic fluff era.
