Large vertical design for cats who need more than a basic scratching post

Some cats need a bed.

Some cats need a scratcher.

The Crown requires a castle.

The PetRebels Cleveland 175 is a full vertical residence for the cat who refuses to live at floor level with the peasants. At 175 cm high, this is where the Crown sits when household standards collapse, servants become noisy, or someone dares to approach without treats.

Scratching posts for preparation.

Platforms for surveillance.

Height for judgement.

Grey territory for private rule.

Peasants are not welcomed here.

They are glared at.

Servants may approach only with snacks, tribute, or written apologies for past service failures.

The claws are not being sharpened for fun.

They are being maintained for future negotiations.

This is not a cute little cat tree.

This is The Crown’s Castle.

A raised estate where the Crown climbs, scratches, lounges, watches, judges, and ignores every request from below.

Peasants may pass beneath.

Servants may bring treats.

The Crown will judge from here.

Overall size: 60 x 50 x 175 cm

This is a tall cat tree, so place it carefully.

Best placement spots:

Near a window
Against or near a wall for extra confidence
In a living room or cat zone
Near existing scratching spots
Away from unstable furniture edges
Away from heaters, damp areas, and open flames

Because it is 175 cm high, make sure you have enough vertical space and enough room around the base. Place it on a flat, stable surface before allowing your cat to use it.

This is a good option for cats who want height, territory, scratching space, and a proper lookout point.

Cats scratch to maintain their claws, stretch their muscles, mark territory, and release energy.

A large cat tree gives cats more than one kind of enrichment:

Vertical climbing
Scratching
Stretching
Lounging
Raised observation
Territory marking
Confidence-building
Energy release
A dedicated alternative to furniture scratching

The Cleveland 175 is especially useful for cats who like being up high. Height gives cats a sense of control over their environment, which is why many cats prefer shelves, windowsills, cupboards, and anything you told them not to climb.

A tall cat tree gives that instinct a proper place to go.

Place the cat tree on a flat, stable surface.

Because this is a tall structure, position it where it will not be easily knocked, bumped, or climbed from unstable furniture.

Check that all parts are secure before use.

Some assembly may be required. Follow the included instructions and make sure all parts are tightened properly before letting your cat use it.

Monitor first use, especially if your cat is large, heavy, highly energetic, or enters every room like a hostile takeover.

Check regularly for wobbling, loose parts, worn scratching surfaces, fraying, or damaged plush.

Keep away from open flames, heaters, damp areas, and unstable edges.

How do I stop my cat from scratching the furniture?
Give your cat a proper scratching post or cat tree and place it near the furniture they already scratch. Cats scratch to stretch, mark territory, maintain their claws, and release energy, so the goal is not to stop scratching completely. The goal is to redirect it to approved infrastructure.

Will a cat tree help stop my cat scratching the couch?
It can help, especially if the cat tree has scratching posts and is placed near the problem area. Some cats need encouragement, so use treats, catnip, toys, or praise when they use the cat tree.

What type of cat tree is best for indoor cats?
The best cat tree for indoor cats gives them scratching space, height, resting areas, and a place to observe their territory. A tall cat tree like the Cleveland 175 is useful for cats who enjoy climbing and need more vertical enrichment indoors.

Why do cats like tall cat trees?
Cats often like height because it gives them a better view of their environment and a sense of safety. A tall cat tree lets them climb, observe, rest, and supervise the household from above.

Is a tall cat tree good for apartment cats?
Yes, if you have enough space. A tall cat tree adds vertical territory without using as much floor space as multiple separate products. The Cleveland 175 is 60 x 50 x 175 cm, so check your available space before ordering.

Where should I put a tall cat tree?
Place it on a flat, stable surface, ideally near a window, wall, favourite sleeping area, or existing scratching zone. Cats are more likely to use a cat tree if it is placed in territory they already care about.

What materials are best for cat scratchers?
Sisal is popular because cats enjoy the rough texture for claw maintenance. A stable structure and soft resting areas also matter. PetRebels notes that its sisal and plush are glued to help extend lifespan.

Is Cleveland 175 suitable for large cats?
Cleveland 175 is a large, 25 kg cat tree, but you should still monitor first use with very large or very energetic cats. Check that your cat fits comfortably on the platforms and that the structure remains stable during use.

Can multiple cats use this cat tree?
Yes, a large cat tree can work well in multi-cat homes because it gives cats height, scratching space, and separate areas to occupy. As always, monitor how your cats share the space.

Does this cat tree require assembly?
Some assembly may be required. Follow the included instructions and make sure all parts are secure before letting your cat use it.

Does this cat tree have a guarantee?
Yes. PetRebels states that it gives a factory guarantee on all its products. This relates to product quality, but normal wear will depend on your cat’s scratching behaviour and how heavily the cat tree is used.
