The Pawise Litter Trapping Mat has a textured surface designed to catch loose granules from a cat’s paws as it leaves the litter tray. Positioned directly outside the box, it can help reduce the amount of litter tracked across hard floors and carpets.

The mat works best when it lies flat and covers the cat’s normal exit route. Tracking reduction varies according to litter type, paw fur, tray height and how energetically the cat leaves. It cannot contain every granule, so routine sweeping or vacuuming will still be necessary.

Placement and cleaning

Place the mat on a dry, stable floor without obstructing the tray entrance. Shake out or vacuum trapped litter regularly and wipe or wash the mat only according to its care instructions. Dry it completely before returning it to the litter area. Remove the product if edges curl, the backing slips or your cat chews and swallows material. Keep the litter box itself stable on the floor rather than balancing it on an unsuitable mat.
