The Pawise Corrugated Cat Scratcher provides a dedicated cardboard surface for scratching, stretching and claw maintenance. Catnip is included to encourage responsive cats to investigate the board and help redirect scratching away from furniture, carpets and other household surfaces.

Scratching is normal behaviour used for stretching, marking and maintaining the claws. Place the board horizontally in an area your cat already targets and reward appropriate use. Catnip response varies, so a cat that ignores the scent may still enjoy the corrugated texture.

Use and maintenance

Keep the scratcher on a flat, dry floor where it cannot slide into a walkway. Remove loose cardboard regularly and replace the board when the surface becomes unstable, wet or excessively worn. Cats that deliberately eat cardboard or become overstimulated by catnip require closer supervision.
