Every operation starts with a recruit.

Small paws.
Big plans.
No experience.
Already suspicious.

The M-PETS Kitten Feather Cat Tree is the official training station for the Junior Associate: the kitten who has not yet learned the rules, but has already identified the curtains as a long-term target.

The scratching post is for preparation.
The feathered pom-pom is for combat drills.
The soft base is for dramatic recovery between incidents.

This is where the tiny criminal learns the basics.

Scratch.
Pounce.
Pretend innocence.
Repeat.

It is not a full castle yet.
It is not The Manor.
It is not senior management.

It is the first desk in the organisation.

Small, dark blue, compact, and ready for early-stage claw administration.

The Junior Associate has entered training.

The furniture should be nervous.

Best for kittens and small cats who are learning to scratch, stretch, pounce, and play.

Place it near your kitten’s favourite play area, sleeping spot, or a piece of furniture they have already started “investigating”.

Because these are small kitten products, they are best used as starter posts rather than long-term adult cat trees. Larger cats may outgrow them quickly.

Scratching is normal cat behaviour. It helps cats maintain their claws, stretch their bodies, mark territory, and release energy.

For kittens, a small scratcher helps build good habits early.

This product helps with:

• Early scratching training
• Claw maintenance
• Play and pouncing
• Kitten enrichmentRedirecting scratching away from furniture
• Encouraging healthy activity
• Introducing kittens to their first scratch post

The attached toy adds movement and temptation, giving kittens something to chase, bat, and attack with the confidence of a tiny intern who has misunderstood the assignment.

• Place the scratcher on a flat, stable surface.
• This is a small kitten product, not a large climbing tower.
• Monitor first use to make sure your kitten plays safely.
• Check the attached toy regularly for wear or loose pieces.
• Remove the product if the toy, post, or base becomes damaged.
• Keep away from open flames, heaters, damp areas, and unstable furniture edges.
• Some assembly may be required. Follow the included instructions and make sure the product is stable before use.
• For very energetic kittens, supervise play because tiny criminals have no risk department.

What is the best first scratching post for a kitten?
A good first scratching post should be small, stable, easy to access, and interesting enough to attract your kitten. The M-PETS Kitten Cat Tree is designed as a starter scratcher with a soft base, scratching post, and attached play toy.

Do kittens need a scratching post?
Yes. Scratching is normal for kittens and adult cats. It helps maintain claws, stretch muscles, release energy, and mark territory. A kitten-sized scratcher gives them a safer and more appropriate place to start.

How do I stop my kitten from scratching furniture?
Give your kitten an approved scratching post and place it near the area they already scratch. Reward them when they use it. Kittens are still learning, so the goal is to redirect the behaviour early before the couch becomes part of their training programme.

Why does my kitten scratch everything?
Kittens scratch because they are exploring, stretching, playing, and learning how to use their claws. They are not being naughty. They are simply entering the workforce without supervision.

Is this suitable for adult cats?
This product is mainly suited to kittens and small cats. The Feather style is 36 cm high and the Pom-Pom style is 30 cm high, so larger adult cats may need a taller, sturdier scratching post or cat tree.

What is the difference between the Feather and Pom-Pom styles?
The Feather style is dark blue, 24 x 24 x 36 cm, and includes a feathered pom-pom toy. The Pom-Pom style is white, 24 x 24 x 30 cm, and includes a pom-pom toy.

Where should I put a kitten scratching post?
Place it where your kitten already plays, naps, or tries to scratch furniture. Good spots include near a favourite sleeping area, near the couch, or in a room where your kitten spends a lot of time.

Will the toy keep my kitten entertained?

The attached toy can encourage batting, pouncing, and play. Always check it regularly for wear, especially if your kitten likes chewing or attacking toys like a tiny professional.

Is this good for apartments?
Yes. The compact base makes it suitable for small homes, apartments, and kitten corners.
