Introduction

The Mikki Classic Soft Pin Slicker – Small is designed to remove dead hair, knots, tangles, mats, dirt and debris from medium, long and thick coats. Mikki specifically lists longer-haired cats among the pets suited to this brush. The angled soft pins help catch loose hair and debris, while the soft pins sit on an air cushion to reduce excess brushing pressure during grooming.

Key features

  • Small Classic Soft Pin Slicker for medium, long and thick coats.
  • Angled soft stainless-steel pins help trap loose hair, dirt and debris.
  • Air-cushioned rubber pin bed helps absorb excess brushing pressure.
  • Flexi-head and ergonomic handle are designed to reduce brushing fatigue.
  • Plastic handle with TPR grip.
  • Suitable for medium, long or silky, and double or thick coat types.

Benefits

Regular brushing can help work through light tangles, remove loose coat and distribute the coat’s natural oils. The smaller size gives good control for routine grooming, particularly on longer-haired cats.

How to use

Brush the coat in sections using gentle strokes, working through the body, legs, belly, tail, ears and head as appropriate. Avoid applying excessive pressure and do not force the brush through tight mats.

Suitable for

Longer-haired cats and other pets with medium, long, silky, double or thick coats.

Not suitable for

Mikki states that slicker brushes are not suitable for corded coats. Avoid broken or irritated skin and stop if grooming causes discomfort.

A note from management

Codename: The Debriefing

The fur had been leaking information for weeks.

On the sofa.

On black clothing.

In the passage.

Once, inexplicably, inside a closed cupboard.

Management suspected an internal problem.

The Debriefing was authorised.

One quiet pass through the coat produced several loose hairs.

The second produced more.

By the end of proceedings, an entire secondary cat was sitting on the table in evidence form.

His High-ness watched the pile without expression.

He denies that any of it belongs to him.

The sofa has submitted photographs.

Tony removed the evidence bag at 02:13.

Its present location is classified.
