The M-PETS Flea Comb is a compact fine-toothed grooming comb for close coat checks and routine grooming. At 4 × 19.5cm, it is easy to control around smaller areas such as the neck, back, tail base and legs.

Why it earns its place

The closely spaced teeth help lift loose hair, flea dirt and debris from the coat while giving you a closer look at the skin and fur than a normal brush. It is especially useful as part of a regular grooming routine when you want to check the coat carefully rather than simply smooth it.

Good to know

Use on a dry, detangled coat with gentle, short strokes and never force the teeth through mats or knots. Work slowly around sensitive areas and stop if the skin is sore or irritated. A flea comb removes what it catches mechanically; it is not a substitute for appropriate flea treatment where an infestation is present. Clean and dry the comb after use.

A note from management

Briefing from the Internal Affairs Division.

A routine inspection uncovered several unauthorised passengers travelling beneath official cover. The resident expressed shock, then attempted to leave the interview by becoming extremely flat. Investigators proceeded with patience, precision and a level of personal courage not reflected in their salaries.

The passengers were removed without ceremony. The resident has demanded compensation for reputational harm and three snacks for emotional distress. Management has approved two and denied the existence of the inquiry.

FAQ

Does a flea comb kill fleas?
No. It is a grooming tool that mechanically catches fleas, flea dirt and debris. If your cat has an active flea problem, use an appropriate flea-control plan as well.

How do I use it without pulling the coat?
Start with a dry, detangled coat and use short, gentle strokes from the skin outward. Do not force the comb through mats or knots.

Where is a small flea comb most useful?
Its compact 4 × 19.5cm size gives you good control around the neck, back, tail base and legs, where close inspection is useful.

How often can I use it?
It can be used as part of regular coat checks. Keep sessions gentle and stop if the skin looks irritated or sore.
