The M-PETS Duplex Cat Litter Mat is a 60 × 45cm double-layer EVA mat designed to sit outside the litter tray and catch loose granules carried out on paws. It is available in Green and Black.

Why it earns its place

The top layer allows litter to fall through into the lower layer instead of remaining loose on the floor. The two layers separate with Velcro, making trapped litter easier to empty and the mat easier to clean. The waterproof construction also helps protect the floor immediately around the tray.

Good to know

Place it directly in front of the litter-box exit so your cat takes a few steps across the surface. Separate the layers to shake or empty trapped litter, then clean as needed and allow the mat to dry fully before putting it back. The mat can also be used as a scratching surface. Choose Green or Black. For best tracking control, give your cat enough mat area to cross before reaching the surrounding floor.

A note from management

Notice from the Department of Border Control.

Small particles have been leaving the private chamber without documentation. Several were intercepted in the hallway; others are believed to have entered the sitting room under cover of darkness. The resident denies organising the route, despite being photographed at every known crossing.

Management has established a checkpoint and declared the situation contained. This is technically true if one avoids looking beyond the checkpoint. Further briefings will be held once the vacuum has finished giving evidence.
