The M-PETS Cleveland Cat Scratcher is a broad square corrugated-paper scratcher designed for cats that like a low, stable scratching surface. Measuring approximately 35 × 35 × 10cm, it offers more width than a narrow scratch board while keeping a compact overall footprint.

Why it earns its place

The wider shape gives cats room to stand, crouch or stretch across the surface while scratching. It is useful for cats that prefer horizontal scratching and can sit alongside a vertical post to give them a choice of positions. A catnip sachet is included for cats that enjoy catnip.

Good to know

Place the Cleveland near a favourite sleeping area, sofa or known scratching route. The recyclable corrugated surface is intended to wear with use, so some cardboard debris is normal. Remove loose pieces as needed and replace the scratcher once it becomes heavily worn or unstable. The square footprint can also work well for cats that like to put their full front half onto the scratching surface.

A note from management

Report from the Municipal Works Tribunal.

At dawn, inspectors discovered a new demolition site in the north lounge. No permit had been issued. The resident claimed the damage predated the building, then demonstrated the alleged historical method with impressive commitment.

Management has declined prosecution. The accused controls several key committees and has threatened to expose what happened to the curtains. A designated works area has therefore been approved. The sofa remains under witness protection.

FAQ

How is the Cleveland different from a narrow scratch board?
Its 35 × 35cm square surface gives cats more room to stand or crouch over the scratching area.

Is it horizontal?
Yes. It is a low floor-level scratcher rather than a tall post.

Does it include catnip?
Yes. A catnip sachet is included.

Is it useful if my cat already has a vertical post?
Yes. Many cats enjoy more than one scratching orientation, so a horizontal scratcher can complement an upright post.
