The Sun Throne is a generously padded, cube-style cat bed for cats who take comfort seriously—and humans who do not want an ugly pet bed taking over the room. Upholstered in soft, heavyweight ribbed corduroy, its gently structured shape creates a warm, sheltered place for curling up, stretching out and supervising the household.

At approximately 60 × 60 × 40 cm, it offers generous lounging space without looking like standard pet-shop furniture. The neutral soft-grey finish blends easily with living-room and bedroom furniture, while the removable, machine-washable cover makes routine cleaning simpler.

Made to order in South Africa: Each Sun Throne is manufactured locally by women-owned Wigglebum. Please allow approximately 14 days for manufacture before dispatch. This is the manufacturing period only; courier transit begins once the completed bed has been dispatched.

A note from management

The Sun Throne arrived quietly.

Most takeovers do.

By sunset, Marmite had climbed aboard, turned once and settled into the light. No announcement was made. No permission was requested. By morning, the bed was hers.

At seventeen, she has outlived lesser furniture and several questionable decisions by Management. She knows what deserves her energy.

This did.

The household continued around her. Deliveries arrived. Humans went to work. The sun crossed the window.

Marmite remained.

Attempts were made to move her. One servant is still recovering from the look she received.

Meals are now brought to the throne. Curtains are adjusted. Sunlight is redirected where possible. Marmite accepts these services without acknowledgement.

She is not stuck on the bed.

She has taken power.

The old ruler has chosen her seat.

Management suggests you respect the decision.
