The LickiMat Slomo is a whisker-friendly slow feeder with four textured feeding zones for wet food, dry kibble, treats and compatible supplements. The divided design turns a measured meal into a longer licking and foraging activity while allowing several textures to be served separately.

The flat surface lets cats eat with a wide view of their surroundings and can be used with pâté, Churu, broth, toppers, freeze-dried food and ordinary kibble where appropriate. Slower eating may help some cats pace meals, but it does not treat digestive disease or guarantee that every fast eater will slow down.

Using the LickiMat Slomo

Spread a measured portion across the suitable zones and place the mat on a stable surface. Supervise use and remove it if your cat chews or tears the material. The product is described as freezer safe, microwave friendly and dishwasher safe; follow the current care instructions and inspect it after heating or washing. Clean every groove thoroughly after wet food and dry the mat before storage.

Learn how to introduce it in our cat lick-mat and slow-feeder guide.

A note from management

Codename: The Square Deal

Every family needs structure.

One corner for wet food.

One corner for kibble.

One corner for treats.

One corner for matters that do not appear in official records.

The Square Deal was introduced after several unfortunate incidents involving greed, speed, and a complete disregard for procedure.

Now everything has its place.

The Crown conducts business at a measured pace.

The evidence disappears slowly.

And nobody leaves the table hungry.

Management denies the existence of any deal.

Tony denies everything.

The mat denies nothing. 🖤

FAQ

What makes the LickiMat Slomo different from other LickiMats?

The Slomo combines textured licking surfaces with separate feeding zones, allowing you to serve wet food, dry food, treats, and supplements at the same time.

Is the LickiMat Slomo good for cats that eat too quickly?

Yes. The textured surfaces encourage slower eating by making cats work for their food rather than gulping it down.

Can I serve wet and dry food together?

Yes. The Slomo is specifically designed to serve wet food, dry food, freeze-dried food, treats, and liquid foods simultaneously without making a mess.

Is the LickiMat Slomo whisker-friendly?

Yes. The flat open design allows cats to eat comfortably without their whiskers pressing against raised bowl edges.

Why does crouching while feeding matter?

Cats naturally prefer to eat low to the ground while maintaining awareness of their surroundings. The Slomo supports this natural feeding posture.

Can I use Churu on the LickiMat Slomo?

Absolutely. Churu, pâté, broths, purees, and other spreadable treats work exceptionally well on the textured surfaces.

Can I freeze food on the Slomo?

Yes. Freezing wet food, broth, Churu, or treats creates a longer-lasting enrichment challenge.

Is the LickiMat Slomo dishwasher safe?

Yes. The Slomo is 100% dishwasher safe.

Can I use supplements or medication on the Slomo?

Yes. The textured surfaces make it easy to mix supplements and medication into food or treats.

Does licking help dental health?

Licking stimulates saliva production, which helps support healthy teeth, gums, and digestion.

Can the Slomo replace a traditional feeding bowl?

Yes. Many owners use the Slomo as a complete replacement for standard feeding bowls.
