A note from management

The Snack Committee was established to prevent corruption.

This lasted until the first meeting.

Three representatives arrived at 15:00 carrying sealed proposals.

By 15:07, two members of Management had changed their positions.

By 15:12, the Crown had assumed the chairmanship.

An internal inquiry was opened.

The inquiry found that several committee members had accepted incentives in exchange for favourable recommendations, additional cupboard access and what the report describes only as “continued cooperation”.

The report was due to be presented on Friday.

It has disappeared.

So have the exhibits.

Tony says the Committee remains independent.

Tony is now Treasurer.

Management sees no conflict of interest.
