Gizzls Fishy Catnip Cat Treats are handcrafted, gently baked crunchy biscuits made with fresh mackerel and catnip. This 50g pouch combines savoury fish with a catnip scent, while coconut flour, ground flaxseed, butternut, turmeric and rosemary extract complete the grain-free recipe. The label lists 24% minimum crude protein and 9% minimum crude fat.

These are complementary treats for cats of all ages and sizes, not complete food. Offer them as occasional rewards alongside balanced meals, and keep fresh drinking water available. Because the recipe contains fish and plant ingredients, check the composition carefully if your cat has known food sensitivities or follows a veterinary diet.

Serving and storage

Serve individual biscuits in sensible portions and supervise first use to ensure comfortable chewing. Catnip responses vary: some cats become playful or relaxed, while others show little interest. Store the pouch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, transfer the treats to an airtight container to protect their freshness and crunch.

A note from management

The packet was left in the middle of the kitchen at 02:14.

No note. No fingerprints. Just the faint smell of fish and a quantity of catnip Management considers operationally irresponsible.

His High-ness approached first. Tony watched from the window, expressionless, as required. Within thirty seconds, the Crown had abandoned protocol, dignity and the pretence that he had eaten dinner.

The servants were questioned separately. Each denied placing The Bait. Their statements were identical, which was either impressive discipline or very poor planning.

The packet was moved to evidence.

The evidence is now missing.

Tony still doesn’t blink.
