The Catstages Catnip Plushies Hedgehog is a lightweight plush cat toy with catnip, crinkle material and a hidden rattle. Its soft shape encourages batting, carrying, cuddling, pouncing and bunny-kicking while sound and texture add sensory interest.

The hedgehog can suit cats that prefer a soft prey-style toy rather than a hard ball or plastic chaser. Toss it gently across a clear floor or place it near a favourite resting area for investigation. Catnip response varies between cats, and some kittens may show little interest until they are older.

Play and safety

Use the toy during supervised indoor play and inspect the plush fabric, seams, filling, crinkle layer and rattle regularly. Remove it if the surface tears, stuffing becomes visible or the internal rattle loosens. It is not suitable for unattended use by cats that destroy and swallow fabric toys. Store it securely between sessions to preserve novelty and reduce prolonged chewing.
