Cat’s Best Smart Pellets Cat Litter 5kg is a plant-fibre clumping litter made from natural wood fibres. The soft mini-pellet format is designed to stick less readily to paws and fur, helping reduce tracking around the litter area, particularly for long-haired cats.

The active fibres absorb liquid and odours before forming scoopable clumps. Although the litter is plant based and described as biodegradable, disposal options depend on the exact product instructions and local regulations. Do not flush or compost used litter unless the pack and local waste system explicitly allow it.

How to use Smart Pellets

Pour the litter into a clean tray to the recommended depth, remove clumps and solid waste daily and top up as needed. Introduce the pellets gradually if your cat currently uses a fine or mineral litter, as the texture is noticeably different. Complete regular full changes and wash, rinse and dry the empty tray before refilling.

How to use & dispose

Fill the litter tray to a depth of about 5–7 cm.

Scoop clumps and solids regularly. Top up with fresh litter as needed to maintain the correct depth. Replace the full tray when it no longer stays fresh after scooping. Cat’s Best states that a full tray can last several weeks, depending on use and cleaning routine.

Dispose of used clumps and solids according to the packaging and local rules. Cat’s Best states that clumps may be disposed of in domestic refuse, organic waste, compost or the toilet, but local regulations should be observed. Flush only small amounts at a time and only if your plumbing allows it. When in doubt, use household waste.

Wash the tray regularly and allow it to dry before refilling.
