The Catstages Catnip Chaser is a lightweight floor toy designed for stalking, swatting, spinning and pouncing. Its round structure and moving inner element create fast, unpredictable action, while catnip scent may encourage investigation and repeat play in responsive cats.

Place the chaser on a clear, level floor and allow your cat to discover how pawing changes the movement. The toy can support short bursts of indoor exercise for cats that enjoy batting rather than carrying or kicking. Catnip sensitivity varies, so a cat that ignores the scent may still enjoy the moving component.

Play and safety

Use the chaser during supervised independent play and inspect the housing, openings and moving parts regularly. Remove it if plastic cracks, the inner component becomes accessible or loose material appears. Do not place it near stairs, water, fragile objects or narrow spaces where it could become trapped. Store it between sessions if your cat loses interest or attempts to chew the structure.

Match the toy to your cat’s play style with our guide to catnip toys for indoor cats.
