Calmeze Gel for Cats is a salmon-flavoured nutritional aid formulated to support cats during anxiety-related situations. Developed by Cipla Vet, it contains L-Tryptophan, L-Theanine and B vitamins in an easy pump-dispenser format that can be offered on food or applied according to the product instructions.
The gel may be useful during travel, boarding, rehoming, weaning, separation or other predictable changes. It is intended to promote calm without being positioned as a sedative. Behavioural changes can also be caused by pain or illness, so sudden hiding, aggression, vocalisation, appetite loss or inappropriate toileting should be discussed with a veterinarian.
Using Calmeze Gel
Follow the measured serving and timing stated on the label. Where possible, begin before a known stressful event and combine the product with a quiet environment, familiar bedding, hiding places and gradual handling. Ask a veterinarian before use in a medically unwell, pregnant, nursing or medicated cat, or when longer-term anxiety is affecting welfare.

A note from management
A note from management
There are times when The Crown becomes unsettled.
The carrier appears.
The suitcase opens.
A stranger arrives with squeaky shoes and medical opinions.
Suddenly the household is under review.
Curtains are breached.
Cupboards are occupied.
Someone hisses at a towel.
Calmeze was introduced for these delicate moments.
Not as a bribe.
Not as a surrender.
A quiet arrangement.
A salmon-flavoured gel.
A measured pump.
A small administrative attempt to lower the volume of the room.
Management applies it to the paw or food, as instructed. The Crown may object on principle. The Crown objects to most principles.
Travel may still be judged.
The cattery may still be beneath him.
The vet may still be considered a hostile institution with bright lights.
But the file is calmer.
Tony reviewed the carrier.
He does not like it either.
