The AFP Natural Instincts Dragonfly Wand is a lightweight interactive teaser that gives its dragonfly target a fine, insect-like motion. Measuring approximately 35.8 × 6.5 × 1.2cm, it combines a polyester and TPU target with polypropylene, feather and metal components. The slim connection helps keep attention on the moving dragonfly rather than on the wand itself.

Why cats like it

Trace short, irregular paths close to the floor, pause on the edge of a scratcher, then let the dragonfly make a brief lift before returning within reach. The feather flutters with small movements, while the lightweight target changes direction quickly enough to encourage watching, stalking and pouncing. Keep sessions short and varied, and offer frequent catches so your cat can complete the hunt instead of chasing an unreachable target.

A note from management

The file says “dragonfly”.

Nobody calls it that.

Around here, it is Die Gogga.

Nobody is entirely sure who brought it into the apartment. There are three versions of the story. Tony appears in all three and denies being present.

What is known is that, shortly after its arrival, normal business deteriorated.

Old favourites were abandoned.

Meetings were interrupted.

Entire toy baskets were turned over on information that Die Gogga had been seen in the area.

Then it disappeared.

Management assumed the matter had resolved itself.

It had not.

Die Gogga resurfaced two days later in the possession of a senior member of the Family who declined to explain where he had obtained it.

Attempts were made to confiscate it.

These attempts were unsuccessful.

Since then, possession of Die Gogga has changed hands repeatedly. It has been hidden beneath furniture, carried between rooms and recovered from locations Management was not aware were accessible.

There have been disputes.

There have been searches.

There was one incident in the passage that no longer appears in the official record.

Management has stopped asking who Die Gogga belongs to.

That is not how this works.

Nobody owns Die Gogga.

You have Die Gogga until someone comes looking for it.
