Apply to the Rescue Partner Program
This application is for animal shelters and rescue organisations. It is not a customer account or newsletter signup.
Applications are open. Start by emailing us; you do not need a Collabs account to send this first application.
Apply by email
Send the following to servant@theapartmentcat.com:
- Organisation name
- Your name, role and contact email
- Website and social media links, or tell us if you have none
- Where you work and which animals you help
- A short description of your rescue work
- NPO/PBO or other registration details, if applicable
- Where you would share your shopping link
- Confirm that you have permission to apply for the organisation
How you join Shopify Collabs
- Apply by email. Send the basic organisation details listed above.
- We review your rescue. If needed, we arrange private checks of your supporting documents.
- If approved, we send a Shopify Collabs invitation. Open the invitation and click “Review offer”. Review the terms and accept the offer if you agree.
- Sign in or create your Shopify account. Follow the invitation to finish joining Collabs. Use an account managed by someone authorised to act for your rescue.
- Complete your payout setup. We confirm that the available payout method works for your organisation. Enter payout details within Collabs when requested.
- Start sharing your tracked link. Your partnership must be approved, your offer accepted and onboarding complete before you start earning.
Yes, you need to join Shopify Collabs to earn and receive affiliate commission. Emailing us alone does not create a Collabs account or activate a referral link. You do not need to open a Shopify store.
Please use the invitation we send you. Shopify is not currently accepting general new Collabs creator signups, but direct brand invitations remain supported.
Approved partners earn 8% on qualifying referred product purchases. There is no customer discount. Commission has a 30-day waiting period, followed by Collabs billing and payout processing.
Keep documents private
Do not attach certificates, identity documents or banking information to your first application. If needed, we will arrange a secure private channel for your registration certificate, PBO/tax documents and organisation banking details. Do not send banking passwords or login details.
Customer contribution fund
Approved rescue partners will also be eligible for consideration when our separate contribution fund opens. We distribute available money according to need, not equally. No regular payment is guaranteed, and contributions are not yet being collected.
Your information
We use your details to review your application, contact you and manage the partnership. Supporting documents are handled privately. Application information is not a public partner profile. We will ask before using your logo, description or other profile content on our partner page. Applying does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

What is “Join the syndicate”?
The signup at the bottom of this website is our customer newsletter. It does not apply to this rescue program or register you with Collabs.
